Tandberg Data RDX^® Data Storage Solution Wins 2011 Storage Networking Product of the Year Award

RDX^® QuikStation^™ removable disk library receives most votes to win coveted SVC Award from Angel Business Communications

Westminster, Dec. 12, 2011, Tandberg Data, a global manufacturer of data protection solutions, today announced that it has won the 2011 Storage Networking Product of the Year Award for its RDX QuikStation removable disk solution. The RDX QuikStation is a versatile library that delivers robust network-attached data protection and offsite disaster recovery for SMB and SME environments in a feature-rich, multi-cartridge 2U configuration.

The SVC Awards, sponsored by UK-based Angel Business Communications, feature nine categories that provide a wide range of options for organizations involved in the IT industry to participate. The 2011 awards program recognizes products, projects and services as well as honors companies that operate in the data storage, virtualization and cloud fields. The SVC Awards recognize the achievements of end users, channel partners and vendors.

A judging panel of respected editors and analysts validated all entries, and winners were chosen based on the number of votes cast for each category.
